Hand-sewn by the finest craftsmen, they feature a vamp and apron carefully stitched together with a special type of seam that results in a small and discreet profile, inner leather lining, 5 eyelet lacing system topped by 3 metal hooks for full adjustability, flat waxed laces and a personalised sole. This special foam rubber sole is infused with brand history as its model was drawn from the Sebago archives: the sole is soft, light, flexible, water-resistant, and combines traction with stability. The “Sterling” lace up boots are a homage to Sterling in Massachussets USA), a little town named after General William "Lord Stirling" Alexander, who served valiantly under George Washington in the New York and other campaigns he American War of Independence against the British.
